Kano state governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has distributed permanent and pensionable offers of appointment to 4,315 BESDA Teachers across the 44 local government areas of the state.

Speaking during the official launching of the program, governor Yusuf said his administration will continue to invest in education by ensuring a conducive atmosphere and adequate teaching and learning materials in all public schools of the state.

He urged the newly recruited BESDA teachers to work with dedication, passion and sincerity in discharging their responsibilities.

He reiterated commitment to restore the Kano state values in terms of higher qualitative education and sound moral values for the students.

While congratulating the newly recruited teachers governor Abba Kabir Yusuf warned them to distance themselves from any inappropriate actions that will tarnish their image as teachers.

In his remarks, the commissioner of education Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda explained that the recent released results of National Examination Council is a clear testament of governor Yusuf’s commitment towards reforming the education sector of KANO GOV the state.
