The Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government, Hon. Ali Musa Danmaliki (popularly known as ‘Hardworker’), has pledged to decisively address the infrastructure and security challenges facing the Ja’oji community.
The Chairman made this commitment during a high-level stakeholder meeting involving the District Head of Ja’oji, ward heads, Islamic clerics, and other key community leaders.

During the session, the District Head of Ja’oji, Malam Sulaiman Shu’aibu, congratulated the Chairman on his leadership and presented a formal list of the community’s most pressing needs amongst are enhancing the capacity of the existing town healthcare facility.
Security Infrastructure in providing a permanent police station to prevent the closure of the current temporary post due to a lack of office space, the establishment of a girls’ secondary school, as the community currently lacks a dedicated facility for female education, installation of solar-powered electricity and the implementation of a reliable water supply system to alleviate acute shortages.
Malam Musa Shu’aibu further emphasized the need for strengthened security measures to combat a deteriorating local situation and suggested a collaborative framework with private companies to drive youth employment within the local government.
Contributing to the dialogue, Malam Mudassir Auwal urged the local administration to prioritize support for mosques and Islamic schools.
He noted that addressing moral decline through robust religious education is essential for community stability.
Assuring the stakeholders of the administration’s commitment, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Basarake, noted that all concerns had been documented and that strategic measures were already being planned.
In his remarks, Hon. Ali Musa Danmaliki revealed that technical officials will be deployed to Ja’oji to assess these challenges.
The Chairman directed that a formal request be immediately forwarded to the State Governor for project approvals.
“Be assured, Insha Allah, I will decisively tackle the challenges facing the Ja’oji community,” the Chairman stated.

The Chairman concluded by urging residents to remain prayerful and supportive of the government.
He specifically called on the community to participate actively in voter registration, emphasizing that strong civic participation is vital for continued democratic dividends.
