[Kano State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hajia Aisha Lawan Saji Rano has said that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf would soon unveil a package of incentives for the Orphans and the less privileged children to enable them have access to formal education.

In a press statement issued by the information officer of the ministry Amina Lawan Isah

The statement said Hajia Aisha Saji Rano disclosed this today when Chairperson of the Star Ladies widows United Foundation (Ubwa) Kano Chapter Hajiya Rabi paid her a courtesy visit in her office.

The Commissioner pointed out that to achieve the goal, Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf has signed various laws to enable the less privileged children enjoy government services free of charge.

The Commissioner then commended the association for its efforts to ensure the welfare of Widows and Orphans in the state.

She therefore assured of her continuous support to women and less privileged children as examplied by the state Governor, Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Earlier, the Chairperson, Hajia Rabi Fagge said they were at the Commissioner’s office to present her a Special Award in recognition of her tremendous contribution, dedication to the welfare of women and children, especially when she was Commissioner women affairs.

Receiving the Award, the Commissioner, Hajia Aisha Lawan Saji Rano dedicated it Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf whom she said encourage her to achieve a lot in that direction.
