The Team Kano has proudly opened it’s medals account at the ongoing this year National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State
Team Kano has clinched its 6 medals that include 3 gold 1 silver and 2 bronze medals at the team and individual event on Monday September 1st, 2025.
The medals include 2 gold in Taekwondo, 1gold in Rugby and one silver, two bronze from Fives single and double respectively.
Ibrahim Khalid Sarki in -45 kg and Atika Ahmad Ibrahim in -41 kg through exceptional performance outclassing contestants to secure the top prize to clinch two gold medals in Taekwondo.
Another victory from Kano team Rugby marks a significant milestone to won gold medals by defeating Delta 10 – 0 in final.
Abubakar Sadauki won silver medals at Fives men singles after losing from Kebbi, at the fives Male and Female Kano State won bronze each.
In another development Team Kano Kokawa reach final.
A proud moment for team Kano as the medal haul continues to grow simultaneously.
