Muslim Professionals in Da’awah, Kano state chapter has procured bags of assorted fertilisers to sell to genuine farmers at subsidised prices in the 2025 cropping season.
In a press release issued by the public relations officer of the association kano chapter Nasir Yusuf Ibrahim (ANIPR).
The statement said the Ameer of the group Alhaji Saleh Adamu Kwaru, stated this while inaugurating the sale of the commodity in Tudunwada, local government area.
Represented by Engr. Abdulaziz Inuwa, Kwaru said the beneficiaries consist of Muslims and non-Muslims from Tudunwada, Sumaila and Rogo local government areas.
He said each of the three selected local government would get 50 bags.
”Additional 50 bags of the fertilisers have been distributed to executive members of MPD to engage in agriculture to boost food production,” he said.
The Ameer said, “By reducing the cost of the fertilisers, farmers are now able to invest more in their crops, leading to increased productivity and expected higher yields.”
He urged the farmers to make proper use of the fertilisers and desist from reselling the needed commodity.
