The Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA), Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar, today declared open a four-day refresher training for staff on the Agency’s digital platform – the EXARO system.
The training, organized by the ICT Department, is designed to strengthen staff capacity in registration processes, payroll resolutions, claim management, verification procedures, and the digitization of Primary Healthcare (PHC) operations.
In her opening remarks, Dr. Rahila Aliyu Muktar emphasized the Agency’s unwavering commitment to digital transformation as a pathway to improving healthcare service delivery across Kano State.
“Today’s refresher training is not just about learning system processes; it is about equipping ourselves with the digital skills and knowledge required to drive transparency, accountability, and efficiency in our operations.
The EXARO platform is at the heart of our vision to deliver seamless healthcare services to our enrollees, and it is important that every officer understands how to maximize its potential,” she stated.
The Executive Secretary further urged participants to take the sessions seriously, noting that their improved competence would translate into better service to the people of Kano State.
“Our strength as an Agency lies in our ability to innovate and adapt. This training will enhance your capacity to manage registrations, resolve claims, streamline payroll, and utilize dashboards effectively. By doing so, we strengthen not only our internal processes but also the confidence of the public in KSCHMA,” she added.
Dr. Muktar commended the ICT Department for coordinating the exercise and expressed optimism that the outcome of the training would further position KSCHMA as a model of digital excellence in healthcare management.
The four-day workshop, holding at the Agency’s Conference Room from 25th – 28th August 2025, features participants drawn from the ICT Department, Registration Officers, Claims Management staff, and 44 Local Government Areas (LGAs) Liaison Officers, alongside selected staff from other key departments.
