The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the final Hajj fare for intending pilgrims from the state and reaffirmed 25 August 2026 as the deadline for the closure of registration.

The Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, made this known today during a press briefing held at the Board’s Conference Hall.

According to the Director-General, the final Hajj fare has been fixed at ₦7,000,000 (Seven Million Naira) only per pilgrim.

Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle further emphasised that the Board will maintain 25 August 2026 as the final deadline for registration. He urged all intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports to do so before the expiration of the deadline.

He called on all intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to take note of the announcement and ensure compliance with the stipulated deadline to avoid any inconvenience.
