Dala Local Government Council has executed various development projects worth millions of naira in three Wards in the area.

The Council, Chairman, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam disclosed this during an inspection visit of the developmental projects in Bakin Ruwa, Dogon Nama and Dala wards.
At Bakin Ruwa ward, the Chairman visited the historic 161 year old Gidan Sarki which include a mosque structure.
The Chairman approved the construction of a classroom block above the mosque for Islamic studies.
He disclosed that thirteen million five hundred and forty four thousand seven hundred and fifty one point ninety one Naira was earmarked for the execution of the project.
The Kaigama Dogon Nama ward Central Friday Mosque interlock tiles will gulped Sixteen million one hundred and fifty thousand Eight hundred and forty nine point ninety five Naira.
The Chairman stated that the project was executed to create a conducive environment for worshippers.
He said at ‘Yan Balanggu in Dala ward, drainage system with interlocking, tiles and slabs have been constructed at sixteen million four hundred and eight thousand eight hundred and eighty – nine point twenty five Naira.
Alhaji Surajo Imam called on all contractors handling the projects to maintain high standards in their work.
He also urged the community to take responsibility for the maintenance and safeguarding the projects for their own benefit.
Alhaji Surajo imam reiterated his administration commitment to addressing the needs of the people under his leadership.
He added that this aligns with the vision and objectives of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s government.
In his remarks the Head of the Works Department, Alhaji Shafiu Musa Gwarzo praised the leadership of Alhaji Surajo Imam and assured that they would continue to deliver quality work to fulfill the mission and vision of the local administration.
The Chairman was accompanied on the inspection tour by his deputy, Alhaji Abdulaziz Ahmad Mai Turare, the secretary, Heads of various Departments elected and supervisory councilors, and special advisers.
