Dala Local Government Council has spent over ₦9,364,009.towards the building of a new mosque at Kabawa locality.

In a press release issued by the information officer of the LGA Hassana Aminu.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony which coincided with the observance of Asr prayers,the Executive Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, explained that the project which was approved by the State Government and executed by the local council, was aimed at supporting residents with a view to conducting one of their religious obligations devoid of ease.

He categorically stressed that the edifice belongs to the community hence urged them to ensure its proper maintenance against unpatriotic elements 

Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam seized the medium to commend the Councillor representing Dala Ward, Hon. Abdullahi Dan Malan, for his dedication,zeal and commitment in ensuring the actualization of the project . 

He disclosed that the Council is awaiting endorsement from the state Governor for the construction of a healthcare facility in the hamlet

He reiterated that the core mandate of the present administration is to safeguard the health, education and the overall welfare of the generality 

He equally directed for the matting of the building in three days time in order to ensure a conducive environment for intermingling with God.

In his remarks, the Director Personnel Management of the council , Alhaji Bakari Abba, called on residents to uphold the cleanliness of the mosque at all times and beside that holding of matters of socio economic importance rather than salat alone.

He moreover applauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his remarkable and Sterling achievements so far .
