The Chairperson of Tudun Wada Local Government, Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Soja, who also serves as the ALGON Chairpersonn of 44 Local Government across the state, has emphasized the critical role played by Information Officers in promoting community development.
She made this statement while receiving the New Zonal of the Information Unit of Tudun Wada Local Government, Salisu Kassim Yakasai.
Hajiya Sa’adatu Salisu Soja represented by the Director personal and Management Alhaji Ibrahim Bichi noted that Information Officers are the backbone of communication between government and the people, ensuring public awareness and effectively showcasing government programs and initiatives.
She further stressed that the doors of the Local Government remain open for collaboration and support to the new zonal Information officer.
In his remarks, the newly Zonal Information, Salisu Kassim Yakasai, expressed his readiness to introduce new strategies and innovations that will enhance the growth and development of the community.
In a related development, the Director personal and Management Alhaji Ibrahim D . Haruna Bichi, also welcomed the new Head of Works and Housing Department, Malam Mustapha Ado Zakirai.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Head of Works and Housing, Engineer Ahmed Kassim Kuki, expressed gratitude to the Chairperson of Tudun Wada Local Government and all staff members for their support and cooperation during his tenure.
