The Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG Foundation), in collaboration with the Kano State Healthcare Forum, Community Health and Research Initiative (CHR), Youth Society for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Social Vices (YOSPIS), and Vulnerable People Support and Development Initiative (V-PeSDI), has donated drugs and consumables worth N200,000 to the Accident and Emergency Department of Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital (MAWTH), Kano.

The symbolic presentation of the donation was made today, Thursday, 6th November 2025, by the AMG Foundation Chairman, Dr. Magashi, to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Hadiza Sa’idu Bala, at the Accident and Emergency Unit.

While presenting the donation, Dr. Magashi emphasized the need for judicious utilization of the donated items to cater for the needs of vulnerable patients, who are the intended beneficiaries of this kind gesture.

He also announced that his foundation will extend a similar gesture to at least two Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) near the hospital.

Receiving the donation, the CMD expressed her gratitude to the AMG Foundation for the generous contribution aimed at enhancing healthcare service delivery in Kano State.
